Grade 3 Content Literacy

  • During the year the 3rd graders will be studying these topics in Science:

    • Properties of matter
    • weathering
    • habitats

    In social Studies they will be studying:

    • Mapping skills
    • American Colonies
    • American Revolution
    • Industrial revolution

    We will also work on completing Engineering Design Challenges as part of our STEM unit (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
