Daylight Savings Time

REMINDER: Daylight Savings Time will occur on Sunday, November 2nd. You will need to turn your clocks BACK one hour at 2:00 AM.

Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on November 2, 2025 than the day before. There will be more light in the morning. This is also called Fall Back and Winter Time.

Election Day - No School

As part of the local and state elections, McAvinnue will be closed on Tuesday, November 4th. Please make the necessary arrangements to be available for your child on this day. Make sure that you set aside time to vote and have your voice heard!

McAvinnue's Before & After School Program will not occur on this day.

We will reopen our doors on Wednesday, November 5th at 9:10 AM.

Veterans Day

Due to the observance of Veterans Day, all Lowell Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th. McAvinnue will open its doors on Wednesday, November 12th at 9:10 AM for that week.
