After spending 17 years teaching elementary school in Lowell, I am now living my best middle school teacher life! Much of my family lives in Ireland, so my husband and I love spending time there with our kids. I have a mini goldendoodle named Molly.  I am passionate about teaching and driven by my students abilities to learn in so many different ways!

We are STEM Sharks.  Do you have a favorite shark type?  Why is it your favorite?

The Great White... for obvious reasons ;)

 Math and Science

Hi! This is my first year teaching 6th grade Math and Science at the STEM Academy. I’ve been teaching in Lowell for 15 years across grades 5–7, and I’ve learned so much from every grade. I love helping students make connections between math and science and showing how these relate to the real world. I live with my husband and three young daughters, and in my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, and attempting various crafts.

I am married to my husband Chris and we have two kids. I LOVE teaching math, and I love to craft. My favorite tv show is FRIENDS but I also love Gilmore Girls. In my spare time I like to hang out with my kids, go shopping, and catch up on crafting. I also love going on long walks and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. I am a huge New Kids on the Block Fan, but recently my daughter has turned me into a Swiftie. I am so excited to start my 10th year of teaching and 15th year in the classroom.

We are STEM Sharks.  Do you have a favorite shark type?  Why is it your favorite?

The Hammerhead shark is my favorite. I love that it looks like a hammer.
