I have been a proud educator in Lowell Public since January of 2014. I am currently in my fourth year as a 3rd grade teacher here at the STEM Academy; however, I am fortunate to have worked with a diverse population of learners ranging from 1st-4th grade. I began my teaching career in the CSA program at the Shaughnessy before switching to 3rd/4th grade special education for 2 years, then 4 years as a 2nd grade classroom teacher, and one wild COVID year as an in-person teacher for 1st grade. 

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my friends and family! On school vacations you can guarantee I am traveling!

Welcome to 3rd grade at the STEM Academy at the Rogers School! I've been teaching in Lowell for over 25 years.I started in 2000 teaching at the Rogers School, then spent 14 years at the Wang School and have returned to where I started! I live nearby with my husband, 2 sons and my dog, Lola. I love third grade. It is such an important year of building on math, reading and writing skills.

I love creating a classroom environment where all students feel welcomed and loved.  I want to create a classroom where students feel like it's a second home.  Outside of the classroom, I love to be outdoors.  I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, taking my dogs for walks, and going to the lake. I also love sports(especially soccer), reading and spending time with my friend and family.  I love working at the STEM and being about of the Lowell Community!

My favorite shark is a Sandbar Shark. They live by the coast near the sand and that's where you can find me in the summer.
