I hope to share my passion for reading and writing with all of my students. Peter Francis
My name is Peter Francis and I am starting my fifth year at the Butler Middle School, my third as a seventh-grade social studies teacher. In addition to teaching social studies, I have previously taught both seventh- and eighth-grade English. I am passionate about helping students learn about the world's past and present - and how they can influence its future. I enjoy spending my free time with family, playing golf and volunteering.

Amanda Tsai
My name is Amanda Tsai, and this is my first year teaching 7th grade math at the Butler. I grew up in Winchester and am excited to begin my teaching career here in Lowell. I enjoy finding ways to make math engaging and helping students build confidence as they tackle challenging problems. Outside of school, I like staying active and spending time with friends and family.
