RESCHEDULED - McAvinnue's "Back To School Bash"

UPDATE: Due to the inclement weather last Thursday, McAvinnue's "Back To School Bash" has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Wednesday, October 1st.

We are set to go with the new date and all of our vendors are rescheduled to join us for the new date! The weather looks to be perfect on Wednesday evening with temperatures in the upper 60s with plenty of sunshine to close out the day.

We hope to see everyone there...it's going to be a blast!

Candy Donations Needed

We are gladly accepting candy donations for McAvinnue's "Spooky Fun Fall Family Celebration"!

Please feel free to drop off a bag of candy to the Main Office at McAvinnue anytime during school hours. Also, you can have your child bring a bag of candy with them to school...and they can drop it off at the Main Office when they arrive to the school building.

We will accept donations all the way up to the big event on Wednesday, October 29th!

Indigenous Peoples Day - No School

Due to the observance of Indigenous Peoples Day (formally known as Columbus Day), all Lowell Public Schools will be closed on Monday, October 13th. Please make arranges to be available for your child on this day.

McAvinnue's Picture Day

O'Connors Studio will be hosting Picture Day at McAvinnue on Monday, October 20th. They will offer student portraits in a variety of affordable picture packages. Be on the lookout for additional information, including the picture pack order form, in the next few weeks.

Please keep in mind that a picture will be taken for all of our students even if there isn't interest in purchasing a picture pack from O'Connors Studio. The picture will be used on the districts database for identification purposes only.

McAvinnue's "Spooky Fun Fall" Family Celebration

Mark your calendars for our next all school family event! Please join us for McAvinnue's "Spooky Fun Fall" Family Celebration on Wednesday, October 29th from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM.

This event is free of charge! All you need to do is come by with your costume on, bring a bag for candy, and we will do the rest! There will be a chance to get some early Halloween candy and make some fun spooky projects, and have some treats!
